Olympiada's Low Profile Lifting Belt provides increased stability and strengthening of abdominal and lower--back muscles when used properly. Lifting increases abdominal pressure as your core muscles work to support and protect your spine from injury; lifting belts assist not by supporting your back, but by increasing abdominal pressure. A properly adjusted belt also keeps your lower back more erect when squatting and lifting, helping to prevent additonal injuries. All of this leads to maintained power and increased reps with consistent use. Our belt is a low--profile 4 inches of foam core with a brushed tricot lining with comfort bound edges and a torque ring and Velcro closure for easy and secure adjustment. The belt is hand--washable and air dry.
